Peanut Butter

Peanut butter flavoured Ground rice Porridge
I know its long but you try naming recipes. It is suitable for Vegetarian, Breakfast Porridge . It’s nutritious
full of fibre,quick and easy to prepare, avoid if have nut allergies.
Any ways I’m very embarrassed to admit that last year I had a shhh (mouse problem) My macho hubby tried to sort it out but alas he just couldn’t. We got a pest control guy in through our home insurance. He had something very interesting to say.
He said rats don’t like cheese they like peanut butter and that is what he uses on his traps. Now thats all I’ll say on that before I get death threats and petitions from animal rights campaign activist. Another tip I’d like to share is that should you ever get chewing gum stuck in your hair just use peanut butter, I think the oils in it dissolves it .
I’m afraid I’ve gotten a little sidetracked what I wanted to say is that I use peanut butter to boost my husband and daughters protein intake as we are vegetarians. However let me put a disclaimer out there if you are allergic to nuts then skip the peanut butter, JUST have it Plain.
Now I noticed in ASDA that they carry rice flour, I thought it was the same but the texture is fine almost like ordinary flour and just kind of sat there in my pot. So I stick to my local African store for ground rice.
In the following video I have a employed the services of a guest taster . I grew up during a recession in the eighties and all my mother(GOD BLESS HER) was able to afford was porridge for breakfast, lunch and dinner so I’ve developed a dislike for all custards and porridge like consistency liquids . However I’m not opposed to preparing it for my family. So enjoy and let me know how it turns out for you .
