Royal Wedding

The hype surrounding the  Royal Wedding yesterday  in the preceding week was unbelievable. Every time one looked at the television or opened a newspaper it ‘s there. Graham Smith, head of Republic is quoted in the Financial Times saying: “You’d have thought it was the second coming,” lamenting the wall-to-wall media coverage of the event. I’ve read so many newspapers and uk talkshows that have at one time or another decry the evils of the monarchy. I truly thought that England wanted to be rid. However the swelling crowds that descended en-masse to take part in this historical event of Kate Middleton to  marry William, the second in line to the throne of England. Was certainly phenomenol and in my mind silenced the critics.

As most of you already know, we don’t have  freeview/normal terrestial tv in our home, so I went to London, kids in tow to my sister’s  to view it live on her television.  Watching the service did remind me of my wedding day 11 years ago, when I married my prince. This morning as I prepared breakfast I turned on the radio to the report that over 3 billion people tuned in world wide compared to the 750 million that tuned in to see Charles and Diana’s wedding in 1981.

Did You Know? There are currently 6.9 billion people in the world

My mind turned to another bride and groom in the not so distant future (I hope). The time when Christ the bridegroom comes again for his spotless bride, the church. Even the saints that have died since Abel to that day will be risen from the grave

1 Thessolonians 4:13-18

13   But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren,
concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not,
even as others which have no hope.

14   For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord,
that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the
Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16   For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17   Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18   Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Kate and William had 3 billion viewers but all mankind living and dead that have walked the earth  will all see christ at his second comming, no need for youtube or bbc and withall due respect Mr Smithof the Financial Times  oh yeah and the “left behinders “You are wrong !The noise will be so loud it will wake the dead, he will not come secretly or viewed via tv.

Even so Lord Jesus come….

Amen

Please see below my wedding pictures God bless you as you make your home a place where angels can dwell.

ps I just found this video on you tube as I was scouring for views on the Royal Wedding and this popped up. It is quite disturbing at the very least, it is definately food for thought if the law can be manipulated in this way. I do not share his political views nor am I affilliated with him just yo be clear
