Biblical tips on how to be a wife

1) She is jolly, and happy  and lets everyone around her know it :
Smile even when you don’t feel like it and watch your mood change and so too the  atmosphere in your home. Because you set the tone in your home

if you have kids  you will notice the difference as they reciprocate

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” -Romans 14:1

2) She does not complain , bellyache or nag:
Now hands in the air yes you in the back I see you we all do this. It must stop. We’ve seen the carricatures of ourselves splashed all over the media.

It’s not okay why because God says so. Now this is so not nice so I’ll prove it twice.

It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman and in a wide house.” -Proverbs 25:24)

“  A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.” Proverbs 27:15

 

 

3) She esteems others above herself and is humble:

Now this is a trait that needs to be practiced honed and developed and with above all prayer for the strength
to change.

“Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.” -Philippians 2:3

4)The golden rule she abides by, and treats others (including her family) how she wishes to be treated. This concept was not invented by man but originated in the bible.

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even

so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” -Matthew 7:12

5) She does not play the martyr, and seeks to makes others feel bad about the burdens she may have or imagines

she has but realizes that the other members of her family may have hardships as well, that she may not be fully aware of

She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” -Proverbs 31:27-28

6) A wife who follows Jesus as her ensample  has a servant’s heart like Jesus did – she is happy to serve her family,

with no begrudging or ill feeling. My sister it is all in the attitude. Jesus was fully man but yet fully God and he had the same tools available to him so we need to have this in our arsenal too . If we are to be what God desires us to be.

For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth

 at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.” – A Quote from Jesus himself  in Luke 22:27

7) She serves her family and others as if she were serving the Lord Himself. Now this is my prayer for you and for me

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men” -Colossians 3:23
